The Zurich-based duo Johnny Nabu creates music that lives between the suburbs and the big city—music that touches and inspires. Dialect pop that resonates. Deep, yet light-footed. Thoughtful, yet full of zest for life. Their lyrics explore questions we all ask ourselves: Where do I belong? How do I find my place?
Their songs tell stories of the search for happiness and the courage it takes to take a leap into the unknown and embrace an uncertain future.
On stage, Johnny Nabu crafts moments full of emotion—sometimes with powerful live drums, synthesizers, and musical guests, other times stripped down and intimate, with just piano and voice. But no matter how quiet it gets, they are never alone. As soon as the lights come on and the chorus begins, it feels like the entire audience is up there on stage with them.
