Biography
Hi there music lovers! I’m an indie artist from the northern Swiss city of Schaffhausen. No matter which music genre, I love to experiment with it. In my little home studio I record and produce my own music. Through my passion for photography and videography, I also enjoy creating my own artwork and clips. It’s all homemade and done with a lot of dedication.
In 2015, I applied for the Eurovision Song Contest with my first song that I recorded and produced on my own - The World in You. Although I didn’t make it far, it pushed me to limits I didn’t know I was capable of reaching.
A year later, I tore my Achilles tendon twice. During my long recovery from the serious injury, I wrote and recorded the a cappella song Will We Ever Learn. I shot the video in my bedroom using a green screen. To make it colourful, I bought several sweaters in different colours, including a green one... what an idiot :) But you know, learning from mistakes is the best way to improve…
Electronica is instrumental song that expresses my love for electronic music. I always wanted to record a Rock Keytar solo and this was the perfect song for it. For the artwork, I used two TV LED strips to create a futuristic look. Believe it or not, I took the picture in the bathroom by pointing the camera towards the mirror. I used the camera's screen to line up the shot and took the picture of my reflection in the mirror.
My latest production Triangolo is an ambient song dedicated to all those suffering from insomnia. The idea and inspiration for this song started with a running gag I shared with a dear friend and was about the simplest instrument to learn: the triangle . The challenge was to create a lullaby around a rhythmic triangle sound. Hoping this soothing melody lulls you into a peaceful sleep - despite the triangle ;) It took me quite a while to find the ideal triangular subject to photograph for the art work. But I eventually came across it in Amsterdam. Do you know which building this is?
Wishing you a melodic adventure that touches your soul while listening to my music.
