Biography

Biography:

Maic Check, is an independent Italian-Swiss artist, born in Lugano (CH) in 1995.
Musically active since 2013, on June 6, 2019 he released his first official album "Sole Nero", available on all digital platforms.
The Hip Hop - indie and dub sounds merge to create a thick project, produced entirely by Michelangelo, mixed and mastered by Roberto Colombo at HRS in Lugano.
The lyrics and instrumentals of Sole Nero, containing 9 tracks, retrace in a unique and experimental way Hip Hop - indie and dub sounds to create a versatile and exhaustive path that highlights the voice and writing skills of Maic Check, transporting the listener in a real "artistic journey".
Since November 2019 Maic Check has been carrying on a live concept conceived with the band, which boasts the participation of Mattia Tavani, current guitarist and member of "Belize". The live concept "Maic Check with the band" was also very well appreciated in the last edition of the 8 X 15 format held in Frauenfeld on November 29, 2019, performed as the only artist from Ticino.
