In September 2016, following a powerful vision, singer songwriter Marc Rudin set out on an adventure to record his first solo album at Frogville Studios in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He flew into Los Angeles, then drove alone for long hours through the dusty, wild, western desert to Santa Fe, where he was greeted by internationally renowned record producer Bill Palmer and his selection of top notch local studio musicians.
Over the course of two weeks, they recorded ten original tracks; songs from the heart and soul, blended with the essence and feel of the New Mexico high desert. The recording was followed up with a solo tour of remarkably touching vocals, skillful acoustic guitar, and authentic blues harp performances; making stops along the way from Santa Fe, through Albuquerque, and ending in Austin, Texas. You will be able to enjoy this album in the comfort of your own living room upon the release on October 20, 2017. The record release party will take place at the Kreuz Bar in Herzogenbuchsee.
Playing over one hundred shows in the last two years, including opening for Anna Rossinelli and Chicago’s Steepwater Band; Marc demonstrates again and again why he is known as an intense, audience inspiring performer. He is also available to play his seductive, melancholy mix of original and cover tunes for your wedding or birthday party, campfire gathering or corporate event.
