«You'll Figure it Out» is the third studio album from Prader + knecht, a collection of 14 mesmerising songs full of diversity and passion. Developed and recorded between 2017 and 2019 together with David Langhard at his DALA Studios, the duo worked with many featuried musicians while recording the album, combining a range of musical styles.
The result is an inspiring mix of folk and indie with traces of garage, as well as pop and even a hint of psychedelic. You'll Figure it Out is truly a great piece of work: Individual, punchy and very innovative.
A euphoric mood spreads across the whole record. Smooth melodies and sounds emerge, insistant bass and drums propel the songs, merging with powerful string arrangements while vocals fuse with trombones and sophisticated interweaving melodies. You'll figure it out!
The Album discusses the present state of our society. Prader + knecht sing about unnecessary fear of the unknown and about losing everything. They ask who we are and why we do what we're doing. They ask the big questions because they feel it's time to ask them. But they're also not afraid of answers, trying to lift us and give some input into how we can make a difference. Of course there are also some beautiful folk songs about love and life too.
The core of the Band are Ronja Rinderknecht (Cello, Vocals) and Martin Prader (Guitar, Vocals). Together they write all the songs and lyrics. On stage, Prader + knecht currently play live as a five-piece band, accompanied by David Langhard (bass), Christa Helbling (Keyboards) and Claudio Strüby (drums).
