RAYA’s BIO
Raya is a rock-metal band formed in south Switzerland, in September 2005.
In their first year of life the band was called S.E.E.D. and with a demo CD, they have been selected between many other bands, as finalist for two contests of the most prestigious open-air in Switzerland:
• The “MUSICACTS” of Frauenfeld open-air (www.musicacts.ch), where they win as best guitarist and best singer.
• The “Montreux Jazz Under the Sky” of Montreux Jazz festival.
In 2006 the band, due to homonymy problems, change the name into RAYA and two new members (Matt-drums and Lomba-bass) joined Lore (voice) and Seba (Guitar) into the band.
In May 2007, the first album with 9 tracks (+2 remix) called “Me paso de los limites” has been released.
Meanwhile they did participate to few contest, concerts and open-air. Here a list of the most significant:

Over the past two years, the band focuses primarily on the construction of the recording studio (Lil’Barrel Studio), where they finally starts recording new material and in February 2013 the new single “GRITO REBELDE” has been released followed trough a video and in January 2014 a new single “BIKO” with video has been released . Both songs has been Mixed and Mastered by PrincipalStudios Germany.
Raya texts are mainly in Spanish (with some insert in English), this is due to the Hispanics roots of singer Lore.
