Patrick Duvoisin’s aka rollercone now trademark sensual deep house sounds have made him an international name. The French Swiss producer has built a reputation for producing jazz tinged, deep dance moods, a style The Times described as “Curtis Mayfield meets St.Germain”.
Recently chosen by Absolut Vodka as the “voice” of their threetracks music project, he produced “ The List” for them, which caused a stir amongst the exclusive worldwide dance DJ’s such as Louie Vega. His cover-mounted exclusive compilation for international fashion magazine Harpers and Queen ensured that not just his classic productions but also his DJ sets have added to his reputation.
As a producer he is a frequent name on hugely successful, groundbreaking compilation series such as Buddha Bar, Hotel Costes, Real Ibiza and Cafe Mambo. He is currently working on compiling a release for the Bar Grooves European series.
rollercone’s debut album itself is the culmination of his many musical passions (house, jazz, ambient, soundtracks) with a tough, hip-grinding yet sultry 21st Century Soul.
As a producer he learned his trade in the hedonism of early nineties Italy (Rimini) which brought him work with Robert Owens and S-Express. Prior to his own solo releases he also produced the Swiss trippy beats of 5 Star Galaxy and the Galaktic Sound Lab collective, including their residency club night at Hoxton’s legendary Blue Note.
He has produced singles/remixes for some of the coolest independent labels in the world :Nuphonic, Good Looking,Yellow,Compost,Glasgow Underground and F. Communications.
As a DJ, rollercone has his hugely successful London residency at Suburb (Cargo/Hoxton) where he fuses a mixture of futuristic sensual beats and grinding sambient house moods. He has played in some of the world’s coolest clubs such John Malkovich’s Lux Fragil club in Lisbon, as well as New York, Cape Town, Paris, Montreal, Milan, Barcelona, Stockholm, Oslo...... the world’s best music festivals: Sonar (Spain),MEG Montreal, Montreux Jazz Festival, PS1 New York, Cosmopolis Portugal, The Big Chill and back in London: Momo’s, Atlantic Bar, Notting Hill Arts club, the ICA to name a few.... and many special private events for SKY Television and London Fashion Week.
