Segen is a young vocal artist based in Geneva. With a wealth of experience in opera singing and a marked taste for harmonies, she explores her musical range, which includes R'n'B, Rap, Soul, Electro, Folk and Blues.
Segen creates an intimate, colorful universe, a space of freedom and gentleness, which allows her to expose her vulnerabilities and let her different "selves" reveal themselves.
At once sunny, generous and full of finesse, it is by nature that Segen asserts her right to exist outside imposed boxes. As a black woman, she seeks to exorcise the diktat of self-giving through her lyrics.

After 10 years of singing in choirs and her first stage experiences, Segen took up the piano-vocal exercise, writing her first compositions in 2013.
At the same time, she joined the cast of the show "Trop Frais", with whom she performed and sang at the Théâtre Saint-Gervais, providing her with an opportunity to explore her vocal possibilities in a new way.
It was also during this period that she met Sournoise Boy. Segen then devoted a few years to her university training, before reuniting with Sournoise Boy in 2018, who then offered her a collaboration with Mourir Jeune Music.
With MJM, Segen offers a musical project marked by simplicity and harmony, imbued with an authenticity akin to Soul, and whose main theme is vulnerability as an instrument of healing.
Behind the apparent security of this Plexiglas wall, Segen lends herself to an introspection that allows her to better assert herself and to invite people to heal their wounds with her. By exposing herself in this way, Segen intends to heal the world through vulnerability.
