Selane is a 19-year-old Swiss artist working in the dark pop and alternative pop genres. She began making music in 2025 with her debut single, “Pounding Heart,” which defined her own sound and artistic world.
Since then, Selane has released two EPs showcasing her versatility and evolution: “Deeptalks and ice cold Drinks” and “Close to Something.” The first EP, featuring six tracks, blends R&B and pop, creating a summery, chill vibe and exploring themes of love, deep thoughts, and emotional vibes.
Her second EP, “Close to Something” (seven tracks), opens up a new sonic direction, combining electronic elements with electro-pop, dream pop, EDM, and UK garage influences. Lyrically, it revolves around self-discovery, questioning the world, rejecting societal expectations, and immersing oneself in a dreamy, personal reality.
Selane’s music oscillates between intimacy and distance, darkness and lightness. With a strong focus on atmosphere, emotion and visual aesthetics, she creates soundscapes that tell a story rather than evoke feelings.
