SÜMETRIX Swiss Reggae Music is a crossover roots-rock-reggae-ska live band with roots all over Switzerland and Austria.
Most of our songs are written and composed by ourselves and are produced together in our studio. A few cover songs have also made it into our set, which we have remodelled in reggae style.
Our music is characterised by uniqueness and a clear recognition value and cannot necessarily be described as classic reggae. The reason for this is that most of the band members do not come from the reggae genre, but are at home in all kinds of musical styles such as rock, metal, punk, hip hop, funk, blues and jazz.
This high-calibre mix of musicians, coupled with the unique voice of the lead singer, allows their influences to melt together and form a symmetrical unity that is reflected in the reggae style. Hence the band name SÜMETRIX.
The band Sümetrix Swiss Reggae Music was founded in 2011 by singer and songwriter Michael Wild and has been able to gain numerous concert experiences during this time and has released several recordings to date.
