This is the YFU extended disco dub of 'Rainbow Over Moscow', remixed by Your Funny Uncle. The dub version is a moroder-esque homage to the disco era of the late seventies and the high energy years of the eighties.
In some countries, queer people are still harassed, persecuted, beaten, killed and discriminated to this day. They are being used by governments to achieve political goals. 'Rainbow Over Moscow' is a song to raise awareness of this situation. It stands for diversity, love, freedom & pride and is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. It's about being proud of who and what you are. Being gay is as much human nature, as a rainbow that appears over a city. That's a fact, and no one, not even an anti gay government, can do something about it.
'Rainbow Over Moscow' was released as a 4-track EP on June 4th 2021 and features the original song, an extended disco remix, this extended disco dub and an instrumental version.
