Blind Spot

one or the other focusing on an easy fix.
Just adding the right mix;
to serve them

The same tales all over,
selling them wishes right from a four-leafed clover.
Got more of them in stock
just as the fifty shades of shady grey, ready to mock.

But they know the full truth,
and the ones that know nothing remain to be the unruly youth.
Choosing just the right framing for their shadow,
just the right angle to who is a friend
and who is a foe.

Circling around the same unspoken terrors,
hiding yet another set of errors.
Marketing complete occultation as their salvation;
Their enlightenment driven by tales of what they already know,
tales of their common show.

Crisis rising according to the agenda of the ones in favour,
merely adding a different flavour.
Come to terms that we are in constant crisis
talking terror, economic downturn and ISIS.

Turning someone’s suffering into white noise for the elite;
claiming that all of us bleed.
They all want to believe it is temporary,
instead let us be unitary.

No one to be left in the dark;
but unwilling to see who was left with a mark.
Rather chose the blind spot as a common condition;
while pleading for their own remission.

But who is there left to blame
if no one is guilty and we are all the same?
Please excuse the discomfort,
change the subject as a last resort.
No need to step outside the norm;
remember, the curtain has already been torn.

what have we done to you; no wonder you’ll stay blue.
