Right for the start of the cold season, the Swiss indie band Alva Leaves’ third single is released. "Calling on Lovers" is an autumn song that the band co-wrote for the first time. The result is a piece that seems at once familiar and irritating. And this is exactly what the lyrics are about: How can we, as individuals, handle the uncertainties of a world that is still familiar, how do we and our loved ones stand up for our cause?
