The I-Twins is a vocal duet composed, as suggested by its name, of two twin brother and sister, Quentin & Camille. Harmonies play an essential part in their music, which is rooted in Jamaican roots reggae from the late 60s till the early 80s.
Both of them have been involved in various musical projects these last years. Camille is notably the singer of Skankin’ Society Sound System and Quentin the bassist of the band Najavibes. Apart from that, the twins have been playing together in the shadows since 2008 and, after years of composing and practising, they are now proud to release their very first album “The Way For We“, recorded in summer 2013 and which will be available in spring 2014. In October 2013, they had the chance to perform in the opening act before the Jamaican singer Dawn Penn, backed by Positiv Band, to give a glimpse of this future album.
For the recording of “The Way For We”, the I-Twins surrounded themselves with several great musicians from the reggae bands Najavibes and Positiv Band. After this enriching experience, they decided to move on to the next step by forming a band together with the same musicians which will start performing in spring 2014. The I-Twins and the Step Brothers look forward to presenting their music to you on stage!
