Biography

«Vélez» is a three-piece indie band from Zurich, founded in 2016 as «Noc Jane». In January 2017, they made their debut at the legendary Boschbar. Polly showed them the way to wrap their various musical influences into a digital demo tape in early 2018. At the same time they changed the band name to «Vélez» - inspired by the beautiful but tragic figure of Old Hollywood, Maria Guadeloupe Villalobos Vélez.
