Mixing jazzy things with electro and more, Intended Immigration loves to cross musical borders.
The driving force behind Intended Immigration is musician and producer Thomas Feurer whose musical journey has led him from his native Switzerland via Paris and Boston to New York.
While Thomas has strong roots in jazz and electronic music, some random fun facts include playing Spanish paso dobles in the South of France, jazz-funk with Candy Dulfer at the Volkshaus Zürich and Haitian compas with Cubano’s Skah Shah all over the world. Thomas paid his doo-wop dues with the legendary Little Joe Cook and The Thrillers and was in the band that Stevie Wonder hired for his daughter Aisha’s wedding. He played a 2 am recording session for Joss Stone and Raphael Saadiq with his amigo Albert Leusink and an afternoon MTV special for Jessica Simpson and Willie Nelson with his buddy Brad Mason. Produced a remix for Quincy Jones with Joy Askew and another one for Herb Alpert with his good friend DJ Foosh.
Thomas’ border-crossing, genre-blending music with Intended Immigration and other projects has garnered hundreds of millions of streams, viral TikTok and YouTube moments, and countless sync placements all around the world.
