Patrick Dufresne is a well-known Swiss musician. Originally from Bex in the Chablais Vaudois, in recent years he has accompanied - as a drummer - many artists such as Aliose, Thierry Romanens, Fabian Tharin, Marc Aymon or The Rambling Wheels. The audience could see and hear him at the theater but also within pop combo, song or even blues and jazz.
If he was until now more accustomed out of the spotlight, Patrick Dufresne steps up to center stage at the end of 2020, and releases his very first song under his own name. And what better than a love song to begin with. Love Song is a French title, unabashedly in the 80’s pop style. Author, composer and performer, Patrick Dufresne has also produced arrangements and played all the instruments in the privacy of his bedroom.
Recorded at La Fonderie studio in Fribourg by Grégoire Pasquier / Shuttle, Love Song also includes the participation of Raphaël Weber (The Rambling Wheels) and Fabian Tharin who accompany with sauve and passionate backup vocals.
