Skyler Wind doesn’t write to please, she writes to feel. The 28-year-old Swiss-Canadian artist, born in Singapore and raised in Zurich, turns emotion into melody with a mix of vulnerability and bite. Singing and writing in English, French, and German, she draws on her multicultural roots to create music that’s bold, cinematic, and hits straight to the heart.
Her EP “AT THE STAKE” (HitMill/Sony Music Entertainment, March 2025) marked her dark-pop breakthrough, landing on major Spotify editorial playlists such as Pop Brandneu, New Music Friday Switzerland, and EQUAL GSA. She later joined Nickless on his Germany tour. With her second EP “KING OF HEAVEN” (Sony Music Entertainment, November 2025), Skyler Wind significantly expanded her sonic palette, a genre-blending project ranging from colourful 80s pop to darker grunge rock. Its lead single, “SWEET ESCAPE”, released with a music video in collaboration with Kia Switzerland, where she acts as a brand ambassador, offers a glimpse into the project’s world through a visual journey across time.
Also an in-demand songwriter, she writes for Naomi Lareine, including the hit single “Colorblind”, which was performed at the Swiss Music Awards, as well as “Stranger”, which reached the Top 10 of the Swiss Airplay Charts. She also writes for Cossmo, Bennyvi, Alina Amuri, and other artists. Skyler Wind isn’t following trends, she is helping shape how pop music in Switzerland sounds today.
