Skyler Wind doesn’t write to please, she writes to feel. The 28-year-old Swiss-Canadian artist, born in Singapore and raised in Zurich, turns emotion into melody with a mix of vulnerability and bite. Singing and writing in English, French, and German, she draws on her multicultural roots to create music that’s sharp, cinematic, and never afraid to sting.
Her debut EP of this year, “AT THE STAKE” (HitMill/Sony Music Entertainment, March 2025), marked her dark-pop arrival, landing on major Spotify editorial playlists such as Pop Brandneu, New Music Friday Switzerland, and EQUAL GSA. This fall, she joined Nickless on his Germany tour before unveiling her next genre-bending EP, “KING OF HEAVEN” (Sony Music Entertainment, November 2025), a bold new chapter that blends 80s pop shimmer with grunge grit. Its lead single, “SWEET ESCAPE”, released with a music video in collaboration with Kia Switzerland, offers a glimpse into the project’s world through a visual journey across time.
Also an in-demand songwriter, she has written for Naomi Lareine, including the hit singles “Colorblind” and “Stranger”, which reached the Top 10 in the Swiss Airplay Charts, as well as for Cossmo, Bennyvi, Alina Amuri, and others, proving that Skyler Wind isn’t following trends, she is shaping where pop goes next in Switzerland.
